REIKI
What is Reiki?
Simply translated Reiki is the Universal Life Force Energy.
“Rei” represents Universal
“Ki” represents Life Force Energy or the more accurate term is Sacred Energy.
Reiki channels the universal energy through a hands-on healing modality, an ancient art that originated by a Japanese Buddhist called Dr Mikao Usui in 1922.
When Reiki is activated it addresses the mind, body and spirit accelerating a person’s natural ability to heal or clear any imbalances, promoting well-being and bringing you back to a balanced wellness. A Reiki treatment is a very gentle and non-invasive procedure whereby the flow of energy is transferred from the practitioner’s hands to the client. Some practitioners work with hands on the body, while others work above the body tapping into the aura or energy field of the client. The practitioners hands are directed intuitively to where healing is needed most.
Reiki treatments offer healing on all levels physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually; while healing can occur on one or all of these levels simultaneously.
Benefits of Reiki
There are many benefits to having a Reiki session. Recipients have said their sleep has improved, they feel less depressed, they have little to no further panic or anxiety attacks. Overall there is a greater sense of well-being. Each person is unique and each session is different and as such each client’s experience is varied. A recipient will get out of a Reiki session exactly what is needed for them at that time.

When Reiki is activated it addresses the mind, body and spirit accelerating a person’s ability to heal and clear any imbalances or blockages from past events or past lives.
Reiki energy is spiritual in nature, it by-passes the physical, mental or emotional problem and goes directly to the cause or issue to allow healing. Reiki is also known to compliment and work in conjunction with any other form of healing or medical treatment.
What will I experience during a Reiki session?
It’s not uncommon for a client to feel sensations such as warmth, coolness, tingling or pulsating. This is simply the energy moving throughout the body and chakra system to remove any energy blocks. In doing this, a client at times can become emotional, which is okay, because the energy is doing its work – it’s healing!
A client can at times have visions or flashes and have been known to go into deep relaxation, where healing will take place on a much deeper level. Not everyone feels or sees anything during the first treatment, but that doesn’t mean the treatment isn’t working. It has been said that when all is calm and quiet, and the client is in a relaxed state and open to receiving healing; that this is when the most profound healing is occurring.
After your session you will feel relaxed, revitalised, calm with a sense of serenity.

Reiki Level I – all courses can be held in group session or one-on-one face-to-face training is available on request.
Reiki Shoden Level I – will teach you how to channel the universal energy to promote healing within yourself and others.
With Shoden “first teachings” you will learn the basic fundamentals of Reiki, how it works, its benefits and why we need to practice self-healing.
Traditional Japanese Reiki techniques are taught and practiced to build on this energetic knowledge to aid your own healing process while allowing balance and harmony into your everyday life.
You will receive three (3) traditional Japanese attunements (energy blessings) that clear the body’s meridians (energy channels or chakras).
After completing Shoden level, you will feel competent in treating yourself, friends, family and even your pets.
For those interested in working on a deeper and more professional level, then Okuden Level II will be the next step for you to complete.
Reiki Shoden Level I course is usually over a three week period for 3.5 hours per session. No pre-requisites required.
Comprehensive course Reiki Manual and Certificate on completion. Refreshments are also provided through the training.

Reiki Okuden Level II – is for those who wish to develop a deeper understanding of the power of Reiki within your life and take your passion for Reiki to the next level; a Reiki Practitioner.
Okuden is a Japanese word meaning “inner teachings”. As the word implies, a deeper understanding and connection to Reiki is achieved during this course.
This level teaches you how to connect to different energies within Reiki. This is achieved through the practice of using Reiki symbols and mantras.
Distant healing is one of the major benefits of working in this manner and as your awareness grows, so does your ability to help others.
After completing Okuden level, the student is expected to continue with the practice of Reiki on oneself and others where possible. This continues the energetic clearing which was initiated during the course itself.
By completing level II, this will allow you to participate in Reiki share gatherings that are held monthly, where attunements (energy blessings) are performed and the continuation of Reiki meditation, learning and practice is encouraged.
Reiki Okuden Level II course is over a five week period for 3.5 hours per session. Shoden Level I is a pre-requisite.

Reiki Shinpiden Master Teacher Level III – is for those who wish to develop an even deeper understanding of the power of Reiki and move up to the level of being able to impart this wonderful knowledge to others by teaching.
Shinpiden is the Japanese word meaning “mystery teachings”. It is aimed at Level 11 practitioners or established Reiki Masters who wish to continue their personal journey, by building on the skills taught at Okuden level.
In Shinpiden, you will continue to learn more Japanese meditations and techniques to further enhance your skills in Reiki. You will learn how to conduct attunements and reiju, so that you can continue your journey in Reiki and initiating others who show enthusiasm and interest in learning.
Self-empowerment is attained in Shinpiden through a strong energetic connection to the source of Reiki.
It is also the result of the confidence you will feel as a result of your thorough knowledge of Reiki, how it works, the Japanese symbols, mantras and meditations and their connection to Japanese philosophies.
One of the major focuses on this course is to tap into the sense that you are, and always were, a great bright light of energy; which is achieved by working with the fourth symbol and mantra.
Reiki Shinpiden Master/Teacher Level III is over a two day period with a duration of 6.5 hours per day. Pre-requisites are Shoden Level I and Okuden Level II.
Comprehensive course Reiki Manual and Certificate on completion. Refreshments are also provided through the training.
